Senior Information Technology Project Manager

About the job:


Primary focal point for stakeholders of assigned project. Lead from front to run the project through complete process cycle from initiation to closure.

Ensure compliance of project management methodologies practiced by the PMO department



– Manage assigned projects in the given role and ensure successful implementation in adherence with approved methodologies of PMO department including approved templates and systems.

– Periodic reports to department head covering projects’ status and updates.

– Coordinate with project resources very closely. Review complete project scope and prepare WBS.

 – Create Job in Service-Desk Project Module, and Tasks for relevant scope and coordinate with TPM.

 – Schedule all project tasks, its dates and manage overlapping of activities.

 – Assemble Project Team and initiate coordination for respective activities and timeframe.

 – Arrange kickoff meeting internally for gathering information from project team then prepare the project plan.

 – Identify Project Owner(s), stakeholders and formulate communication channel.

 – Conduct kickoff meeting with client to officially be acquainted, introduce project team, discuss solutions, present project plan and initiate project execution

– Follow up, monitor project implementation and update the tracking sheet and ServiceDesk.

– Coordinate closely with project team, project owner, stakeholders and update as required.

 – Record peculiar incidents, issues encountered during project and document as ‘Lesson Learned’ for future reference

 – Record minutes of all meetings and share with all concerned.

– Load necessary transactions, such as local purchase order, actual cost, cash expense etc. in Dolphin System under respective Job Order references and submit to Finance; within one (1) business day of preceding respective transaction.

 – Ensure with project team the completion of project be ON-TIME as committed in Project plan. – Oversee proper update of documentation, archiving and filing of the projects.


– Bachelors in IT or Engineering or equivalent.

– PMP Certification

– Other supporting certification such as ITIL, Six Sigma is additional advantage.

– Microsoft Applications (MS Office, MS Projects, Visio)

– Strong computer knowledge

– IT infrastructure semi-low level technical & design knowledge.

– People Management, Communication, Decision making, Motivator, Initiator.

 – Strong English & Arabic language fluency
